Scripture: Jude 1:25

"To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty,

dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen."

On November 24, 1942, Elder Charles E. Gamble was born to Ezell and Victoria Gamble in Lewisville, Arkansas.  In 1956, Elder Gamble and his family moved to Lemoore, California where he graduated from Lemoore High School in 1961. Upon graduating, he chose to serve his country by enlisting in the U.S. Army where he served proudly from 1961-1964.

In 1964, Elder Gamble moved back to Lemoore where he was baptized in the Name of Jesus in September in Hanford, California, and filled with the precious gift of the Holy Ghost in November. He was a faithful member of The Lily of the Valley Apostolic Church under the leadership of Bishop I.E. Owens. He later moved his membership to Golden Harvest Apostolic Church under the leadership of then, District Elder Joshua L. Cotton.

In 1971, Elder Gamble moved his family to Las Vegas, NV.  He was called to ministry in 1967.  In 1974, he was ordained as Elder.  In February 1974 he began his own work for the Lord, at Golden Valley Apostolic Church.  In 1981, he was elevated to District Elder of the Los Meadows District (#14) of the California/Nevada District Council.

In 1991, Elder Gamble married Ellen Lovelady and moved to Sacramento,California, where he became a member of Christ Temple Apostolic Church under the leadership of the late Robert Holman Sr. In 1992, he moved back to Las Vegas where he began to pastor at "Newness of Life."  Elder Gamble became ill at the end of 1999 and was forced to resign as pastor and moved back to California.

On August 21, 2001, he was officially appointed pastor of Mt. Zion Temple Apostolic Church by Bishop Henry L. Johnson, our Diocesan of the 16th Episcopal District P.A.W., Inc. California District Council, where he continues to work on the vision the Lord has given him.
